Wine Snob for iPhone goes ‘Primetime’

It is no secret that we have been doing iPhone development over here at 9mmedia. As of last week, our first iPhone app that launched with the App Store back in June is famous! The Wine Snob icon was caught strategically placed next to the Urban Spoon application in Apple's TV ad. You can watch the ad here by clicking on Urban Spoon in the bottom list: http://www.apple.com/iphone/gallery/ads/. We are quite flattered that someone over at Apple was not only playing with our app, but thought we'd be hip enough/yuppie enough to include in the ad! Thanks!

Now we don't have TVs, but tons of friends and customers let us know that they saw us on TV. The funny part about this actually is that our icon was on the screen for about 1 second of air time.

So this is the teaser post to let everyone know we now have a nice undercurrent of iPhone development going on here. Myself and some other devs will be making iPhone related posts here very shortly. But don't worry, I have not completely gone to the dark side. After a quick affair with Objective-C and the iPhone SDK I am now going back full force into the world of Flex.

Funny. I noticed the app in the add too and checked it out. I didn’t realize it was 9mmedia that built it…good job! (BTW…I helped you guys out with some Flex support issues last summer on one of your projects :) )

    Cheers

Great job guys! This is the well-deserved accolade for your hard working! But honestly, Apple would be ill advised, if they didn’t add it. Congrats!
